How did you develop an interest in fashion? Fashion has always been a part of my life, starting with my mom hand-making my dance costumes. I used to accompany her to pick out fabrics, threads, appliqués, and rhinestones, and I loved watching her creations come to life. Seeing how the costumes brought the dance and music together was magical! She would stay up late and wake up early, pouring her heart and soul into making these beautiful costumes—despite not wearing them herself. That dedication was so inspiring. Now, I’ve had the chance to meet many designers with unique styles and perspectives, yet they share the same passion for bringing a design to life. Fashion truly is an art form.

Tell us more about your work as a model and any other projects that are close to your heart.I began modeling when I was 4, and my first job was being featured on a billboard! I even climbed to the top with my dad to take a photo with it. My first big set experience came when I was 12, modeling for a dance costume catalog, and from that moment, I knew modeling was my passion. Recently, in June 2024, I had the incredible honor of gracing the print cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam. Holding that physical copy felt surreal. I’ve also had the privilege of working with Marie Claire, Glamour, and Elle magazines, each one special in its own way. Every project reminds me that I’m on the right path, following my passion, and meeting amazing, like-minded people along the way.

I consider my greatest strength to be my perfectionism. I’m always eager to learn, practice, and refine my craft. Whether a good or bad experience, I take it as a lesson that prepares me for the future.

What do you think about the state of fashion today? Fashion today is all about art and self-expression. The everyday outfits we wear to school or the office are vastly different from what you see on the runway or red carpet. Some people find high fashion outlandish, but to me, it’s a form of storytelling—there’s always a deeper meaning behind the designs. I also love acknowledging the craftsmanship that goes into creating these stunning pieces and appreciating the unique materials used. Fashion is more than just clothing; it’s a medium for creativity.

You always look incredibly stylish! Who helps you choose your outfits?

Thank you! I usually style my own outfits, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I love playing with bright colors, 1950s/1960s-inspired clothing, statement hats, off-the-shoulder dresses, and heeled boots. Styling is a creative outlet for me, and I look forward to putting together outfits every day.

Tell us about your recent photoshoot. We shot in beautiful Malibu, California, on a windy yet sunny day. I wasn’t told the concept beforehand, which made it even more exciting when I arrived on set. The outfits were stunning, and the hair and makeup had a bold, edgy vibe—definitely different from what I’ve done before. I loved

being pushed out of my comfort zone and am really happy with how the shoot turned out.

You walked in several shows at Paris Fashion Week. How was that experience? Paris will always hold a special place in my heart. Walking in Paris Fashion Week for twelve different designers was an absolute dream! The energy in Paris is unmatched, and I love connecting with people from all over the world who share the same passion for fashion. Paris Fashion Week is glamorous, bold, and very fast-paced, but that’s what I thrive on. Running from one show to the next in such a vibrant city while living out my dream—it doesn’t get better than that!

What is your beauty routine? I’m all about skincare! I love Korean skincare products—my routine includes toner, retinol, sunscreen, and moisturizer. And I always make sure to avoid too much sun exposure.

What’s your signature scent? Chanel Chance—it’s timeless and elegant.

What’s your dream travel destination? Egypt, Australia and Singapore are at the top of my list. I’d love to explore all of these places and immerse myself in their rich cultures and history.
