Interview by Chrissy Johnston

What does your daily skincare routine look like?
I take care of my inside first with vitamins, trace minerals, colostrum, and plenty of water. I love Eminence Organic Hungarian skincare and layer their serums and moisturisers. I also have a red light mask, but I’m really terrible at using it consistently!
What’s the weirdest wellness or beauty trend you’ve ever tried?
I’ve never done anything too weird, but I can say the most painful was Morpheus. I did a round of three treatments, and I’m not sure the results were worth the pain.
Which city has the best street style in the world?
Tokyo. They’re so bold and creative! What’s your signature “I need confidence fast” outfit? Bold red lips and a black leather jacket.
What’s one habit that changed your skin, mood, or energy for the better?
Consistent sleep, exercise, supplements, and high quality skincare products. A good skin laser is worth it too.
If your personality was a fragrance, what would it smell like?
Whiskey soaked leather, ylang ylang, tobacco, bergamot, earth, and black tea.

What’s your backstage beauty essential you refuse to tour without?
A high-quality light-up magnifying mirror. It’s great for makeup and facials.
What do you eat in a typical day?
I drink tons of water every day, hydration is really important. Then it’s usually coffee, fruit, salad, and protein. I jog on show days so I make sure I have carbs then. I try to eat clean, but I’m also a foodie and want everything! Unfortunately, I’m often at the mercy of tour catering, which usually includes a table of desserts, so it’s not always easy to stay healthy every day.
What’s one fashion trend you secretly hope never comes back?
Skirts or dresses over pants/trousers. It’s just wrong!
What’s the most expensive item in your wardrobe?
I have a gold studded black fringe leather jacket by Alice + Olivia. It was a real rockstar purchase I treated myself to for Christmas. I love the brand, and yes, it was totally worth it.
Which female style icon still inspires your wardrobe choices today?
Cher. She has always been very chic and rock n’ roll.
What’s one beauty rule you’ve completely stopped believing in?
Heavy foundation and a lot of makeup. In recent years I’ve been leaning more toward natural beauty, so taking better care of my skin has become really important. It’s nice to go makeup-free.
What’s your definition of true happiness?
Having a connection to a higher power and strong faith is what keeps me grounded and okay in this world. Having a loving family also makes me happy.

What makes you angry?
When I see evil and people doing nothing to stop it because they want to mind their business and stay comfortable.
How do you keep in shape whilst on tour?
I do a mix of jogging, jump rope, and weight training. I workout as much as possible.
If you could change your career, what would you do instead of singing, writing and performing?
I wouldn’t want to change it, but if life had taken a different turn, I’d have loved to be a wife and mother.

You recently recorded a song with Sully Erna from rock band, Godsmack. Can you tell us more about it and when will it be released?
It’s called “Set Me Free” because we commiserated over difficult past relationships and were inspired to write about them. We were talking about our experiences, and I suggested we turn it into a song. He came into the studio with the idea, and boom, it all came together! We’re planning to release it later this year.
What was the vibe in the studio together?
It was nonstop laughter, I really enjoyed it. Sully is incredibly talented and very funny.
Tell us about your US tour and anything else exciting you have planned for 2026.
My band and I are currently on the Rise of Rock Tour throughout the year with Stone Temple Pilots and Godsmack. U.S. fans can find tour dates and tickets at www.dorothyonfire.com. I love meeting my fans, so I also offer a special VIP meet-and-greet experience.
Beyond that, I plan to keep writing new music and, who knows, I may just have to start working on my own fragrance!
