These are among the most recognized brands in the world, and her work with them has notably landed her on the leading industry resource, Models.com. Let’s get to know Irene a little better by asking some special questions.
You have a really diverse list of clients Irene. What type of modelling jobs are the ones you like the most? Editorial work, look books, shows, or commercial work?
I must say that a mixture of all of them makes my modeling career full and keeps it interesting. I am super grateful that I have a talent and skills to do all of the above. I am enjoying a lot the process of my work and always super excited to see the results. My main passion at the moment is creating video campaigns. That type of modeling involves more of my personality. I can play with emotions, movements and more.
What are some current projects you are involved in?
I recently had an amazing campaign which was shot on the beautiful beach not far from NYC. I am always feeling super empowered being by the ocean and that really speaks to the theme of the designer’s new collection “For Her“ which introduces definition of a women that are seen as soft, gentle, like delicate flowers, but on the inside she has a strong personality.
I am really honored to be a muse for a designer vision in that sense. I am super excited about the Netflix show I am currently shooting. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the name of it untill the show release date, which will happen sometime in late 2022. The casting for that show was extensive with more than a thousand girls attended the castings. So, I am very happy and grateful that I was the one who casting director chose.
Sounds amazing! Why do you think they chose you?
I actually asked that exact question on set because casting director was there as well. So, his answer was: “I handpicked all talent for the show. Each one of you is very beautiful and unique in many ways. But the thing which really important for me is confidence. And I can feel a confident person energy from far away”. His answer was everything to me and I remember his worlds each time now attending my castings and go sees.
Speaking about personal qualities and perception of work and life in general, what is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
My life coach advised me to find my own mantra (affirmation phrase) and repeat it every single morning to myself. It has to be created by you and each word has to speak to your heart. I am happy to share what I came up with. Always be present, spread love and feel loved, trust the universe, be open to opportunities, be grateful.
