Hi Vlada,
Hi Instyle
Tell us more about yourself and how you have started your modeling career?
Well, it’s been a long journey for me to make to that point where I am now. But I still feel like it’s the beginning, I always set more and more goals to accomplish and I’m very focused to do more and more in my career. New York Fashion Week was the most dreamed goal for me since I started at 13 years old as a girl. I used to always dream about the runway – runways are my thing, I love it! I did my first fashion week in Milan when I was 17.
My parents didn’t let me travel for work until I finished high school and went to university, but then I have started to work In Milan, China, Turkey and Paris. I am very happy to make it in the USA for now, and of course for a model it’s the best place to be! New York brought to me amazing people from the fashion industry and I love my agency EMG Models for having me and believing in me. I am absolutely thankful for all I have and appreciate every day of my work and New York lifestyle.
It’s great to hear! Do you see yourself as a commercial or fashion model in New York?
I see myself absolutely in both categories in the fashion industry. It’s easy for me to change emotions and smile for commercials and look more fashionable on the runway and in magazines. I’m very versatile and look different with different makeup and clothes. I feel like I can easily be transformed and I love it. Modeling for me is art. You can be creative, and at the same time you can be yourself and keep your personality.
Tell us the secret of your successful modeling career!
I think the main secret is to believe in yourself and work on your self-esteem. Healthy lifestyle and focus on my goal made me who I am now, and I am still working on it every day. I’ve met amazing women who said to me «if i could do it, you can do it too. Just believe and work on yourself!» Modeling is a very hardworking business.
Anything you would like to share with the girls that want to become a model?
Stay positive and don’t give up. It could be very hard in the beginning with a lot of rejection, but once you get through, your life will change.
