Sapphire Howell has something magical, otherworldly and powerful to her. It’s definitely more than just her long ice blonde locks reminiscent of a Targaryen dragon rider. Perhaps it’s her single minded grit, tendency to stray from the norm or ability to captivate masses. Sapphire started at first from humble beginnings working background on indie films which led to being discovered by an agent. As her entertainment career grew so did her social media presence. She now has 3 million followers on Instagram, 41.3k likes on TikTok and continues to grow a presence on several other popular social media platforms. This modern royal hailing from an entertainment background has graced the covers of Playboy, Harper’s BAZAAR, Glamour and Business Insider. Modeling and acting credits aside Howell, now also embarks on establishing her self hosted relationship centric podcast, Heartbreakers, and has recently debuted as a presence in the exciting new world of Web3. Sapphire truly is in several places at once. Howell has specific techniques and rituals she uses to be able to do so sustainably and is not shy to share what she knows. Whether it’s playful animation styled NFT self portraits or starring in an editorial photoshoot for InStyle, each new conquered territory for Sapphire Howell always has her distinct signature stamp of lightheartedness, intelligence and kindness.

Tell us about your first fashion memory. Back in highschool, I had this Louis Vuitton purse with rainbow letters.. I have always been drawn to accessories. The right mix can really make or break a look. I loved that LV bag maybe because it paired so well with things I was really into back then; preppy skirts, low rise jeans, boots! Fashion is cyclical, all of that stuff is hot again now, too. The essence of what I like and who I am is always at the core throughout the cycles. I think this is what style is. It takes time to hone and develop. It’s definitely a journey. What is your greatest strength as a professional? My greatest strength as a professional is I am professional. I take punctuality, and efficiency seriously.
I respect my time, so I naturally will respect yours too. If you truly feel this it comes through also in the way you treat people and how you work. I’m an “all-in at round one” kind of person. I’d rather do it right the first time. What is the most challenging project you have worked on? And how did you overcome the obstacles you faced? Ah easy, this challenge is currently happening actually! Hands down, managing my new podcast
while juggling my previous commitments is my greatest challenge at the moment. Between advertising and audience expansion it has really tested me. But I am also having so much fun, I have many visually dominant platforms, and finally there is a great place to share what has been going on behind the image and things I’m passionate about like mental health and wellbeing. I could not do what I do without my friends. I lean on them when
I need support. We keep each other motivated and relaxed. Who inspired you the most in life? The OG I’d definitely have to say is my grandmother. She is a true trailblazer. Against so many pressures from society and family, she did her own thing. She upset people but she stayed true to herself. My grandmother pursued higher education and ultimately independence. She was the first in our family to earn a degree.
